This is the third year of Teddies 4 Kiddies distributing teddy bears to the poor kids in the Philippines. It was Christmas Eve (December 24, 2008) when the bears were given to 258 poor sick kids confined at the 'Ospital Ng Maynila' (translated in English as Hospital of Manila) and the Philippine General Hospital. Both hospitals are public (government) hospitals.
The distribution was undertaken in coordination with the Cathedral Of Praise which also gave food to the family of the sick children in keeping with a Philippine tradition called 'noche buena'.
Noche Buena , often translated as "Good Night", is a Spanish word referring to the night of Chrsitmas Eve when the family gathers together and eat dinner together.
